Columbus,Ga law enforcement official shot and killed a man

This scene is still very active where a Columbus law enforcement official shot and killed a man identified as 32-year-old Alonzo Carter outside of Club Flame on Armour Road. Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents are on the scene investigating what led up to this hectic scene. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirms Carter was pronounced deceased at 3:25 AM on scene. A female was also shot and taken to Piedmont Emergency Room.

Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Charles Newton is now on scene.

Vardman “saw that individual with that gun and ran over the individual that had the weapon to eliminate the threat,” Boren said. This same that ran over and killed another man in Columbus.
