#BREAKING: Downtown Shooter had lengthy criminal record dating back to 2011, according to research. The downtown shooter who left 5 people with non life threatening injuries was known to local Columbus and Russell County authorities, our findings show. The downtown shooter, identified as Justin Tyran Roberts, opened fire and injured 5 within a span of 18 hours. A man was shot at Courtyard Marriot on Whitewater Avenue in Phenix City. The second shooting left 3 people shot near the 1100 block of Broadway around 10PM. Tyler Dashawn Prather, 21, was charged Friday night with two counts of murder, two counts of aggravated assault and weapon possession. He is in jail without bond. #BREAKING: Father of 1-month-old Caleb Winsnand Jr. has been arrested after 1-month-old body found in woods, according to family and authorities. The father, Caleb Winsnand Sr., was arrested and charged with manslaughter, hours after press conference. The grandmother said in a Facebook comment, “He threw the baby in the woods like he was garbage.” He has a bond of $100,000. We now have the mugshot of the father of Caleb Whisnand Jr. The father pleaded for answers and not even minutes later the body of the 5-week-old was found and the father was arrested for Capital Murder. The father is ID’d as Caleb Michael Whisnand Sr.

#BREAKING: Two drivers shoot at each other while driving down Interstate 85 near exit 51. Auburn Police arrested Alan Lyrenski Sandlin, age 21, from Alexander City, and Casey Andrew Kirk, age 21, from Opelika, on felony warrants charging each with shooting into an unoccupied vehicle. The arrests stem from Auburn Police Division officers responding to a shots fired call on Interstate 85 at exit 51. Police contacted Sandlin and Kirk and determined that they had both discharged firearms after a confrontation on the roadway. Vehicles driven by Sandlin and Kirk were both struck by gunfire. Sandlin and Kirk were placed under arrest and transported to the Lee County Jail. Both were held on a $5,000

#BREAKING: Lee County Deputy shoots 18-year-old driver after lengthy pursuit from Opelika to Boxwood Drive in Columbus. The vehicle involved was stolen from Phenix City. The pursuit began from a suspicious activity call in Lee County. Marqueyvius Dozier was treated for injuries and is charged with Theft by Bringing Stolen Property into State, is wanted on other warrants. A missing juvenile ran from police but was captured and arrested for Obstruction of Police Officer. More charges expected.
