The bird could not handle the rabbit on ground. One thing I love about wildlife, that humans should learn is, know when and where you defeat/escape predators.

I'm sure that Hawk has tasted Lemon Peppered Rabbit on many occasions....😜
But yes, this rabbit got away that day. I agree with you. These days it seems as though animals are smarter than humans...🤔

He probably have had lemon pepper rabbit before. He had to kill him in the air, where he was the most vulnerable. Thanks for posting valuable information to the site. We look forward to much more.
