Stewart is a rising second grade student at C.T. Walker Magnet School and was in Mrs. Cave's 1st grade class. Stewart also received the recognition in kindergarten. C.T. Walker also has the Top 3rd grade class on First in Math in the state. Ms. Wiggins' class collected 13,000 stickers per student.

One bus driver is being hailed a hero for their actions during the gun battle at the Chevron on Farr Road this morning. The bus driver, who had children on board already, stopped at the bridge before coming through into the line of fire — which saved lives of children on the bus. Miraculously, even though 50-plus shots were found – no one was injured.
